Our specialties
We specialise in co-mediating complex multi-jurisdictional/cross-border disputes, often involving more than one language. Lim Tat and Geoff Sharp recently co-mediated a crossborder dispute between English and Mandarin speakers.

Since launching in June 2019 we have mediated large cross border disputes in the construction, IP, oil & gas, mining, aviation and steel sectors.

Singapore – the ideal mediation venue
Singapore is a leading dispute resolution hub in Asia and a popular seat of choice for international arbitration. It has further enhanced its mediation credentials by enacting the Mediation Act 2017 to support the international commercial mediation sector. Add that to the high levels of cross border investment in Asia giving rise to costly and complex disputes, and it makes perfect sense to offset risk by mediating at a strategic point in the arbitration or litigation process.
These factors, together with Singapore taking a lead role with the launch of the UN Singapore Convention on Mediation in August 2019 make Singapore an ideal mediation venue.

Our Singapore office is located in the heart of the business district at Maxwell Chambers Suites adjoining Maxwell Chambers, Singapore’s preferred mediation venue. This provides a convenient and secure venue for parties and counsel if the mediation is to be in an in-person or hybrid format. If the parties wish to meet online that is easily arranged.
